Privacy Policy

Glide is a Bluetooth trackpad app. It connects your Android phone to your Mac, Windows PC, or smart TV over Bluetooth. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
What data Glide collects
None that leaves your device. Glide does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any server. The app has no backend, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, and no account system.
All communication happens directly between your phone and your computer over your local Bluetooth connection. No data passes through our servers because we have no servers involved in the connection.
Bluetooth
Glide uses the Android Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) profile to register your phone as a Bluetooth input device. The app reads touch coordinates on your screen and sends them as standard trackpad reports to the connected device. This data never leaves your local connection.
Permissions
Glide requests only the permissions required to function: Bluetooth (to connect and send input) and Nearby devices (Android 12+ requirement for Bluetooth scanning). The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or storage.
Third-party services
The app contains no third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or tracking. The APK download on this website is served directly with no download tracking.
Children
Glide does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects data handling, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change.
